Default Queens Birthday Cruise to Wollongong. 12/6/06

    Hi everyone,

Just posting up this cruise that weve been organising on another forum, and just wanted to get this cruise happening and get as many people as possible involved.

Copy and Paste from Cruise Thread-

"Queens birthday is the 12th of June, and the gong should be buzzing again and last time it was lots of fun!!

    The details-
7:00 Am at McDonalds West Gosford For a 7:30 Leave
8:30- 9Am Meet at olympic park P3 Carpark
9:30- 10Am Leave for the gong.

And the final destination will be the Gong, near the lighthouse. Maybe we can meet on the grass hill infront of the lighthouse depending if theres parking or not.

Guys this will be lots of fun if we get more then it will be the merrier."

So there we have it guys, hopefully it will be similar to the Anzac cruise (in size that is) and yeah we can all have another great day!

Unfortunetly for me I wont have my ps that day so I wont be bringing my new rolla (still coming) out! But there should still be a few out.

SO if anyones interested please let me know here, and ill add you guys onto the main thread to keep it all together!

    THOSE ATTENDING-
    Rolla Boy
    HUNTED
    Mideon 696
    Seca Boy

    Cheers,
    BJ

still cant believe how many people still come down here when ever its a public holiday, get back after getting defected, told by police to move on etc. and whinge about police being too hard.
as i said in bens thread for anzac day, why not go to the state rec area where there wont be as big of an interuption to the general public, you do realise the guy that organised supercruise might still be facing the possibility of a million dollar fine?

    1. the state rec area is killalea state rec area, its about 20 minutes past wollongong, near shellharbour
    3. the fine was mainly due to the large number of cars that attendended creating traffic problems on major highways etc. but the organise did not get council, police/emergency services permission to hold the even, even though the final destination was on private property it created issues on council/government property which is why he might be up for the fine

edit: link to killalea website here
should be plenty of parking etc. as long as no one is stupid and starts doing burnouts and rpping up the grass i doubt you would have any probelms.
even if this is only going to be a relatively small cruise i would recommend letting police and council knwo about it.

    thanks for that wilo,

yeah i dont really see how that can stick because i am not organising a supercruise of any kind, ive posted it up here and on the CCMC forums only. I am going to make this cruise aware to the police but also aware to the fact that i wont be held responsible for any idiots on the day. Still i and the other other organiser are thinking about just cancelling it as an official cruise.

He's not talking about you being stupid more the fact that the previous ppl that organised the super cruise and didn't inform them didn't.
