Well, I'll now only be attending as a spectator . Fried my clutch as WSID tonight and dont have the time to fix it before Friday morning. Ah well.

and yeah, just did a last min oil change, brake pad swap and brake system bleed tonight myself.

also managed to grind off and replace/reweld a few seat retainers, making the sparco well secure finally...

Boo!! What about all day today? Where's the commitment?

Seriously though, thats a real shame to hear matt. Oh well, next time you'll have a new diff AND clutch, should be good fun!

How good was that :-) Ran my best time by far with a 1:09.4 and after having a ride in the black STi and silver 911 i can see another coupla seconds hiding there just in some decent brake pads. The WRX with pretty much the same setup but with good pads was outbraking me by miles.

A big thanks to GT (Garth?) for the invite and i'll be back next one for sure if asked

+ rep to garth for helping organise a top day ;D

great weather, no wind, not too chilly...

looking forward to someone posting some pics.

supra's best time today: 1:18 which actually compared pretty well considering the rest of the field (placing 12/34) and although slower than i thought by the numbers, im very happy. the main bunch of around 5-6cars was centred on 13-16secs odd. so 3secs off the pace of of the *fast* pace setters im pretty happy (stock, completely untouched na 2j engine, car setup exactly the same as i drive it to work each morning)... tyres seeming to be the second biggest limitation to no power ill post pics of my cheap ass nangkang's later when i get home...

...perhaps i shouldve gone in the drift comp - it seems thats abuot all the tyres were good for...

    tyres
    rear springs
    brakes

    1uz

    *sigh*

    cheers!
