Default Timing belt tensioner - need help???

This auto adjusting timing belt tensioner has me stumped as to what to do.
BGB say I've gotta moves a pin inside but I can't get it to do anything.
Anyone had any experience with these tensioners before and got any tips on how to work them???

on yours it looks like its adjustable by the use of that hex allen key hole
the pin type is for the hydraulic units
yours doesn't look hydraulic to me
can anyone verify to if what i'm looking at is right or wrong?

I'm fairly sure it's a spring loaded tensioner , been some time since I did 1 . The 200 tensioners fail so I'd replace it along with the belt . Just undo the main bolt and pull it all off , put yr new belt on , put the main bolt in loose and then put the Allen key in and nip it toll the belt is tight then let it go a bit and tighten the main bolt , the reason for this tensioner is to give the belt some sprung tension as it stretches .
