    Default 18rgeu ECU VB Socket?

There is a socket labelled VB on the ECU diagrams i have seen, though the socket doesn't exist on the ECU with my 18rgeu. This socket is used for a line to the battery according to the diagrams. Can anyone shed any light?

I don't quite understand your question.

When you say socket, do you mean a complete, seperate, one-wire plug on the ECU? Because that doesn't exist.

There is a Vb wire in one of the plugs, but it's not a seperate 'socket'

I'm pretty sure he is saying his ECU doesn't have a pinout for VB.

Most of the wiring diagrams I have seen show VB going to +12V i.e. not to the ECU. (None of these were from a toyota manual though but the majority of it seemed to work)

My ECU had a VB pinout though so I wired it into there instead.

I can probably check the voltage on that pin on my car if you want. Although this is only of value if we assume that they are electrically equivalent.

Pretty sure, on my 2T (virtually the same) the VB wire comes from the AFM and goes to the Fp pin in the ECU. Can open my old ECU and have a look tonight.

I did actually word this question around the wrong way lol, though i've gotten the answers i need + found some other info in one of the other threads. I'll post the engine conversion photos and info up after the wiring is done.
