    Default ST162 Shift Lever leather removal

    Hi again,

    Just wanted to know how to remove the stock Gear Stick lever's leather, and replace it with an aftermarket one?


    Anyone know how? Coz i cudnt locate/feel any clips under the damn thing :S

    There should be 4 all up. The actual boot has a square shaped piece sown into the leather. The clips hold this square shaped piece of thin tubing to the actual interior clip.

    There are some decent ebay ones which you could make use of the material and probably sew in that clip again.

    The other option is to attach the aftermarket one with some hot glue, i'd just advise keeping a spare plastic gearstick surround if you glue it (most of the time hot glue will come off quite easily though
