use a series 2 crossmember and jzx81 alloy engine brackets, then it bolts straight in. You need to bend the oil feed pipe to the turbo very slightly to clear the jzx81 bracket, but it works fine.

Wiring is the same as any other conversion, quite involved but the jzx100 A/T ecu will work with an R154 just fine.

Does any one has wiring diagram 1JZ GTE VVTi + (Tiptronic transmission) ? I 've just bought from market but I can not wire it. I also don't know the car model of it. Please give me an advice.

the external-shift R154 sits too far back in an x83, I used jza70 boxes with the integral shift housing in my swaps.

You can just unbolt the remote shifter and bolt in the jza70 shifter. If you were to cut a hole in the floor, the shifter would sit in the middle of your center glovebox.

Iv got the 1jz gte vvti pinouts ( English ) The diagrams ( Jap) You should be ok if you a A/T ECU but you should check if you have got a SPD from your current cluster which you need for your ECU to know your speed. There are alot of wires that come off the motor which you dont need like TRC and ETC, most of them run from the TDLC on the motor. To get the motor running, there are not alot of wires that need to get conected, Would be your Neutral start, coils, B+,power from starter relay to starter, air con clutch, VSV valves, there is three on the motor. There is another pulg that runs with your ECU wires from the motor which has your oil light, temp gage and so on.

    that's incorrect my friend

i have a jzx90 r154 and yes you have to cut the hole in the tunnel BUT the shifter misses the centre console when its in 2nd/4th by about 10mm

p.s. i think the ant's found my pizza from last night

Is that a JZZ30 box or a jzx90 box? The JZX90 boxes I've seen have been the ones with the remote shifter frame similar to the jza80 6-speed. From memory some of the JZX110 boxes used the shifter with an integral housing way back like that.

My box (attached) is apparently a JZX90 item.

yeah my jzx100 box looks like the 90 t has been converted from push to pull, have rad on some one that has cut floor and liked shiftr positin because he is tall and has racing seat so sits back alot farther back and is more comfortable this 83 is going to be purely for drift so a centre console wont be needed.
