Default 1jz only firing on 2

    gday,
having some problems with my 1jz, JZA70 type, auto ECU without the auto box.
after 15 monthsz of slowly getting put back together, fired it up for the first time on saturday and it only runs on 2 cylinders (2 and 4).
so far i have changed plugs and swapped coil packs between cylinders.
fired it up and still only ran on 2 & 4, inspected the plugs, 1, 3, 5 & 6 still looked brand new while 2 & 4 had gotten black.
i then checked error codes, throwing 14, which is ignition etc
i checked the earths from the coil pack plugs to the body and there was resistance, around 306, aacross all plugs.
then i checked continuity between the ecu and the ignition module, which as all fine (didnt see the measurements, just put it on beep with arms stretched) all beeped.
then checked from ignition module to coil pack plugs, all beeped again.

now my next step is to borrow an ignition module and test with that.

i also wanted to test the IGF, trouble is, i dont know what an IGF is.

i tried putting the multimeter across the coil plugs while cranking, but it wasnt registering anything even on a known firing cylinder, possibly too fast for my multimeter to register?

if anyone can help with my fault finding, please let me know

the car is also running a haltech interceptor which is wired correctly.

below are some diagrams which may help:

    thanking you kindly

IGF is Ignition Feedback - basically tells the ECU that the igniter has fired the coil and Plug.

No IGF signal and it cuts fuel to the injectors to stop Hydrocarbon emmisions.

No IGF will not stop the plug from firing - as you have to have an IGT to produce an IGF.

While the IGT fires the coils down individual wires ( IGT1 - IGT2 - IGT3 etc) IGF comes back down one wire for all coils.

As code 14 is an IGF missing - I wouild check voltage in to each coil ( 12v) and continuity of the IGT and IGF to each coil.

It also seems to say IGF is RPM1 on the pic u posted, so is it tach feed?

so, tried another ECU and igniter today, no joy.
pulled the plugs to check, all previously unburnt plugs had arc marks.
so made me think it must be fuel, ckecked the wiring, all earths ok, no continuity breaks in positive.
people kept telling me to check the injectors, buti had them cleaned before i put them in (over a year ago now mind) so i was certain it wasnt that.
i gave up, went inside, had a beer
then i remembered my 440cc injectors werent 2jz, but 3sgte ones, meaning 2 were from one car, four were from another. swapped them over with the old ones, bingo bango, firing on 5. #1 injector plug is shagged, so tomorow should be firing on all 6

sweet, glad you found the problem. So is the injectors not working due to them being a mix of high/low impedence, or have i misunderstood why they weren't working?
