The board is currently working out do's and don'ts for the for sale section. This has been discussed before and I'm sure it will be again.
I personally like the sound of it.

Hi,
While this forum is kicking off, I thought it would be a good time to implement a new thing in the classifieds sections of the forums.
When a new thread is started, it MUST have the location in the thread title. If not the thread is deleted!
For example, if I wanted to sell a bonnet in perth,
[PER]: AE92 bonnet in red.
It would save a lot of hassle I reckon.
Cheers,

It is used successfully in forums such as OzHonda and NissanSilvia, so I reckon it can't be a bad thing...
if the board wants opinions then i would agree with this being implemented... i believe its a great idea... otherwise another option would be to have a form that gets filled out when you want to post something for sale... something like...
item:
description:
price:
location:
willing to post (yes/no):
stuff like that... what do you guys recon?
Have a look at the ausrotary.com for sale / wanted template that is enforced over there. Its a Good idea and it works well. No pissfarting around to try and find out where someone is located. Threads which don't comply are locked.
i reckon just a simple template that should be followed. alot of people (including myself) buy parts interstate so i dont think putting it in the title is that necessary.
follow the template or have your thread deleted.
