    Default Bosch 044 Intank Filter

    Guys,

After a filter to put on my 044 to put in my JZA80 fuel tank.

    What have others used?

These (below) look good, anyone know if you can get them in Aus or if I should just order from the USA?

My only info is that I had the same question as you six months ago.

I found one place in the UK (maybe the same mob?) that sold the part I wanted, the only other option being barbed fittings with hose and sock blaha blah blah ugly. I just went for a different pump.

Interested to here how it goes.

044's have a screen built into the inside of the pump the same as an open base 040 does.

they do, but it's quite a pissy little screen. IMO it's more like a last resort thing to save the pump if the sock falls off.

If you had any gunk in the tank it could clog up pretty quickly, which is why I wanted the large surface area of a sock
