    Mag = Magnesium.

    Original materials and still used but very expensive. Good luck finding mag pipe

    Aluminium Wheels (what you and I have on our cars, ie your BMW and Celica) are commonly referred to as "Alloy Wheels" and incorrectly referred to as "Mag Wheels".

    "Alloy Wheels" and "Mag Wheels" are actually 2 different things.

    Mag Wheels are Magnesium Alloy Wheels and are flammable and very expensive, but are a lot lighter than Aluminium Wheels. They're also banned form most motorsports across the world.

    I believe they are short for magnesium alloy wheels, but with obviously the main component being magnesium as opposed to aluminium.

    So best i be asking for aluminium tubing, not alloy.
    Might be worth an email to PWR to see what they are made of. You need different types of filler material when welding different aluminum alloys, just ask PWR what type of alloy for the bends and what filler do they use.

    I think mag wheels are made of a magnesium alloy, whereas alloy rims are made from aluminium alloy.

    Wait wat.
