Default map sensor - which wire is which

    Hi guys,

I have a Denso 6110 MAP sensor that I'm trying to figure out which wire is power, ground and signal but I'm stuck with the colours.

    Any ideas?

Easy if it's on the car. Grab a multi meter, one wire will be ground so will be very close to 0v, another wire will be the reference voltage, which should be close to 5v and NOT change if you rev the engine, the last wire is the signal return, it's voltage will vary as you rev the engine.

You can also do this test with the engine off and a mity vac(vacuum pump) connected to the MAP sensor....easy

You're assuming he has the sensor connected to an ecu and engine.

i believe green is usually the signal wire

which would make sense with it being in the middle

id give blue (-ve) yellow (+ve) and green signal a go but dont quote me if it fries it
