Gday people
Just picked up a second hand T25 for next to nothing. Has bugger all shaft play and seems in good nick but is a bit dirty inside from sitting in my mates workshop for the last year or so.
Whats the best way to clean it out without damaging it?
Is there any recommendation on solvents or sprays like throttle body cleaner that I should use? Will this bugger any internals (seals, ect).
Cheers.![]()

Inside where? The housing or the core where the oil etc live? If it is the housings then just remove them and clean wheels and housings with petrol and a fine bristle paint brush, if it is in the core then i would get it professionally looked at.

A method used to clean the compressor blades of aircraft jet engines, was to spray with WD40, let it soak for half an hour, then hose off.
cheers Chuck.
