4AGE 20V - Knock Box

Hey guys,

Ive got a megasquirt running on my 4age 20v and im having troubles getting a reliable knock signal from the megasquirt supplied circuits.

I was wondering if on the 20v's, did they have an external knock control box? or was it built in to the ECU? and if its external, does anyone have one knocking around (no pun intended) they can send me?

It's done internally in the ECU. No external box I'm afraid.

I've used a Link knock-box, it's not too bad, has two knock sensor inputs a 0-5V output and a headphone socket. Cost a bit over $200 locally.

IIRC, around 6400Hz is the frequency you're after.
