Default Are fuel injecotrs polarity sensitive

i recently got a set of 440cc 7mgte injectors for my 1ggte. Obviously the plug is different, but the 1ggte plug will fit the injectors if i file down the litte plastic guide grooves on the injectors. jsut wondering if there is anyway to tell the ppolarity on 7m injectors, or if polarity even matters. How has anyone else has used 7mgte injectors on a 1ggte loom, or do i need the 7mgte plug to splice into my loom?

    cheers, michael

I can't see there being a polarity as it's just a simple coil around a plunger arrangement. Watch out for different impedance though.

Are you using anything to control the extra fuel?
    Hello.

    They are not polarity dependent.

i doubt that it "doesn't care" - high and low impedance injectors are driven differently. The ECU may have the capacity to drive both but it will be switchable.

Interestingly Chuck they "run" both high and low impedence injectors with no switch or software adjustment.

so it drives all injectors the same way- regardless of impedance. Looking at the wiring diagram it wants a 2 ohm load per bank. Not an elegant solution, but obviously works.

    Yep, same way for all.
