Line pressure cable adjusting procedure

Hi,

I got a 1g-gte with A340E, just wondering what is the correct way to adjust the line pressure cable. Is the correct way to open the throttle wide open, and when it's wide open check the line pressure cable and should it have no slack i.e not being able to pull on it.

Seriously, I can understand you having a few technical issues but have you ever tried searching for some information first or even looked at the TSRM?

Easy to do just open the throttle fully,on the kickdown cable you should see a small square piece of metal on the cable.This should roughly be inline with the outer part of the cable.If not adjust to suit and all is done 5 minutes if that.
