bump. im too stupid to think of a solution by myself, and its frustrating me too much!
ok. i screwed up i think.....
I think that i am using to many different parts from different cars in the setup of my front sus.
ATM i have-
ST141 struts ready for coilover sleeves
s14 callipers and discs
RA60 front hubs
AE86 LCA
I already have the hub machined down and disc redrilled, along with spacers provided by cruzida (thanks man) so i can use the callipers and discs
Problem is as follows.....
1- strut wont go on steering arm, bolt spacings incorrect! Ι was going to use the XT130 lower control arm to allow for some more camber.....I heard its good for AE86. Will the strut bolt to the steering arm of an XT130? Both being coronas and all....
2- if i use this steering arm, what will the lock be like? is the arm shorter? longer?
If i can get away with using this LCA and steering arm then im all done and it can go together!
3- If i use this setup, what will i do for RCA? cause its going to be low and all. Custom made ones?
Thanks for all the help....ive kinda already decided that im using the current strut so changing it now will annoy me too much.
any help or advice would be great!

measure measure measure
you need to measure distances and angles and offsets, then make up a 3D diagram and calculate what happens to the geometry with bump, rebound, and then both of those throught the full range of turning.
as for RCA, where do you want your roll centre? by lowering too much (to slightly lower CG) are you moving the roll centre down too far and actually increasing roll?

Is there any easy to use software you can recommend for that oldcorollas?
I'd like to model what happens under various conditions, so I can wrap my head around it a bit more.
get yaself the knuckle that bolts to the strut.
then compare the ball joint mount hole offset to your std one.
im at the same stage now trying to fit ra60 struts into my RA28. my next step is to fit ra60 knuckles as my 28 ones dont bolt to the 60 struts justr like your st141 - 86 dont fit.
and if you get + camber when you do this ... try using passenger knuckle on the drivers side and vice versa. if this works for 0 or - camber remember to flip ya steering lock stops.
hope this helps

if you are handy with 3D trigonometry, you can do it in excel. main problem is knowing exactly where the pivot points are and where they move to during suspension movement etc, but very doable.
i wouldn't say easy, but the basic concepts are not hard.

The XT130 struts work with AE86 steering arms and therefore RCAs. ST141 i was under the impression that it was the same bolt pattern. Although obviously it is not.
