mz21 combo switch issue

hey all, just gettin ideas, the combo switch in my z20 soarer isnt working ATM, it use to work fine but seeing i dont drive it im not sure when they stopped,

i can turn on my headlights and operate my washer pump but the wipers wont work and neither will the indicators, that and my indicators wont work when the hazards are on.

ive checked the fuses and their fine, the mains are fine etc etc, i did only have 11v at the time but still, ive also checked all the plugs and looms under the dash and from behind the HUD and nothing, i havent checked with a multimeter yet but yeah.....

Maybe contacts are bad in the combination switch? Borrow somebody elses and try it out, work from there.

ive got a spare from a mz20 so its slightly different but i tryed it and it doesnt work them either.... i spend a good 2 hours today playing around having a look to see if i can find whats wrong and nothing seems unplugged or bad.....its weird tho as the buttons and turn switch will work but not moving the levers up and down... and no hazard lights either, same with whipers

I know that the left/right runs through the Hazard switch, so check all the wires that go into the hazard switch.

just a quick update and need for info,

my blinker problem IS a bad connection somewhere but where it is, is the problem, i played around a few days ago when it was dry and i couldnt get anything to work

but now its just after its rained, i know there is a few little leaks around my car but nothing that will get on wires and shit, BUT it will allow moistrue into the air so im playing around trying everything to find the issue.

what it is doing is i can leave the hazards on and everything will work for a few minutes and then stop for a while and then go again, a simple tap will set it off, but then sometimes even shaking the car wont do it so yeah,

ive checked all my plans, anyone know if any layouts or just any key areas that i need to check? ive done the usual both sides kick pannel, fusebox in engine, taillight looms etc etc,
