    Who won?

Maybe think about holding it at Kambah Pool nude bathing next year to get the numbers up.

We did, though with only 3 competitors we scrapped the eco run and went for a blat around canberra and surrounds instead. We will be asking you guys if there is interest in holding the event next year, or if this isn't the type of driving event you are looking for, or if everyone was busy with family/drunk this close to christmas.

I thought it was "back by popular demand"?

I know its been done before, but a run to Bathurst for a look at the race car museum (and any associated places of interest along the way) is appealing. If its no-go for the club, then i'll take a drive up there anyway if anybody else is keen.

That's just advertising hype dreamt up by the CCG marketing unit

Baffurst sounds like a good cruise in the new year.

Almost as much hype as the "Celica" in Canberra CELICA Group mwaahaaahaaa

I had an idea for a really interesting looking country run to Bathurst through Gunning/Crookwell/Caloola, but that was in my ute as it is a fair bit of dirt roads. Not so sure it would please those with "nice" cars

Hahaha funny Rolla buggers...again! If there are dirt roads involved anywhere Im out as I just dont take Tweety anywhere near that stuff mate. Tweety is only a lil showbird! Bathurst run is already on the agenda, just sorting out a suitable format and what bloody weekend is free of other events!

Yeah we are looking at getting the event advice out earlier and we did get a lot of interest when we punted the Eco run but alas only some of the guys interested showed and very few 'possible' but thats the way it goes sometimes.

We would be very happy to hear any suggested events Stitt. We ask for event ideas all the time and they are the usually the events we have between the annual Nationals type events. How about next Beer Oclock you give us some datils and we can work them into the CCG calendar. I think I might have to start another events thread like we use to for more ideas!
    Cheers
