    Hi,

my first suggestion would be to check that date, as the 15th is a friday......

But if it's on sunday the 17th, then count me in (provided i have my sirricar on the road by then)

Have cross-posted this to the TCCQ forum. Count me out but I wish you all well.

Can I suggest some on-the-road rules?
    - no bunching up, you're not circuit racing
    - early indicating of braking or turning
    - UHF radio mandatory
    - organised Fuel stop (so a random fuel stop doesn't result in a whole bunch of cars dangerously blocking a servo or the road)

    skid pics posted!

    Hi,

all sounds like common sense. I don't have uhf though....................

And of course the pics of skids would be on private roads/property where it is not illegal (and therefor river can't take them down....)

Jaycar and others sell fairly cheap UHF radios - persuade a family member to buy you a pair of hand-helds for xmas. I bought a GME handheld many moons ago for sub-$100 and got a headset (ear-bud and mic+switch in the cord) with it.

note: open speakers don't mix with open windows and/or noisy cars.

I've used mine on both trips to dubbo and a few cruises in SEQ - was worth the dollars saved on mobile calls and missed speeding fines.

You dont NEED a UHF but it helps. Our biggest problem with them is we could never hear it over the engine anyway, might be a bit different now wtih the 20v in my car.

Munki, AE86 is MORE than welcome, as is any car in fact But definately an 86 as im quite a fan of them Bring some friends along if you like, the more the merrier.
