Default Identify This Flywheel - 4V Toyota V8

Right, just trying to identify the flywheel that is fitted to my 4V hemi V8.

Its attached to the crank with six bolts, PCD of approx 65mm. However it looks like it has been redrilled, but the 2 extra holes don't line up?? Overall diameter is 280mm, clutch is held on by 6 bolts at 260mm PCD and the clutch disc is 225mm. So any ideas on whatit could be from? Motor should have been auto orginally so I don't think its factory unless by some miracle it a 3V flywheel.

Look like it might be 225mm M series? (i.e. MA61)

M series have one of the holes offset from factory so that looks like what might be going on on the left hand side one?

Not sure why the other hole is drilled between the others?

Cheers Wilbo, that looks like a very good possibility. I'm wondering if the extra hole could have been to balance the flywheel after they had to re-align the oddball hole? Might see if I can find a 7M one to compare. Certainly will make finding a new clutch and possibly starter a bit easier.

Just a note that 7MGE is 240mm friction face and takes a different pressure plate to the 225mm M series....

All other M series (bar 7mge) are 225mm to my knowledge...

WDE_BDY - to make it easier for "us", could you place a rule across the back side???

Unfortnuately not, its all bolted together now and sitting in the engine bay. It will be back out and apart at some point so will do then. In the meantime I'll draw the measurements onto the pics that I have when I get a chance.

Very likely an old M flywheel. I'll see if I can find my old one tonight.
