Just to lighten the mood a bit I will post up a couple of photos of what this weekend is about

    Racing these -

Coupled with a bit of after hours -

    Less of this -

....and hopefully a little more of this

Now here's to a fun weekend.

Good stuff Roscos! We should all be able to get some good track time there. I think I've only met you once. Be good to meet you and see your ride properly.

yes breifly, had many a thing on at that funday between my car and mates cars!

blocked 2 air filters that day, the splash sheild to the air cleaner breather was missing and was thus sucking fresh oil drips out of the air cleaner that was then soaking into the element

Team Rising Sun have done a deal to have our lap times shown on this

    Hmm, on the hindenburg?

Car update: Ed's white car sporting a smashed piston has had its new slugs arrive today. A quick visit to specialised piston services for flycutting and a chinwag tomorrow should have them ready to be installed this weekend.

Looking forward to this thread moving on...

So... Rossco, keen to meet you too, and see how that beast of yours is coming along. Is it still running the 18R-C? Sounds like neither of us can kill it!!!

Mine was up and running last week, and took it for a few squirts... it's running great! But as you do with all running cars, I pulled it apart again

Well, it wasn't entirely unjustified, as it had a small water leak from up under the turbos that was imposible to fix without dismantling into eleventy million pieces.

I won't say exactly what I've been doing, as you guys will think I'm nuts for doing it so close to the 6hr, but I'm working round the clock to have it on club plates and ready for donuts (of the nutritious kind) this weekend. A trip to adelaide wed-fri this week might hurt that plan though.
    Current rides...

    1) Red RA28LT (NOW WITH 1G )
