Hi all,

sorry to have to bail like this, but i guess it just wasnt mean to be...

the wedding is on the saturday, so i will still be up on the sunday to help with the running of the team.

this was probably a blessing in disguise for me as it was going to be a massive push to have the beast running in time, and probably would have not had the oportunity for a shake down prior to the 6 hour. and when putting an engine together thats expecting to make around 400kw at the wheels, i should think there may be one or two teething problems...

i'll catch up with you all when we arrange a team meeting before the event.

Hey Guys,

Thought I should mention I dropped the car off at Racetec today to get an exhaust and tune. From there it will go to PAC to get the panel work sorted out. Then off to a few track days!

Slim and I dropped in to twenty-eight's place and saw his car looking very complete. He said two weeks should see her ready to rip skids! Keep up the good work Simon!

Ian - Perhaps contact the organisers and mention you have two available positions. I'm sure they had to knock back quite a few keen drivers...

i dont think there is a need to contact the organisers, i can think of nearly a dozen people who are keen to drive, filling the spot will NOT be a problem.

As you all are aware the next Toyota Car Club meeting is Tuesday Aug 10 and is probably the best time for a team meeting, including team members from rising sun and odbodz. Who can I expect to see there?

We are coming close to the August Test and Tune/Practice dates for Winton. Could drivers please review these dates and post which is the most convenient for them and a decided will be reached based on majority.

This Friday's event (6th Aug) is too early for myself, and I'm certain it's the same for Tim and Eddie also, so I'm putting a vote in for the Test & Tune on the 20th Aug.
