Just guessing but I think you'll find that something was out of balance or not done up correctly, and in fact you'll find that the rear seal leak will be because things were out of balance.
Hey guys i fitted a NPC clutch kit into my w58 ae86 4agte 6 months ago. Shortly after i got a rear main seal leak "cheap seals " i noticed the engine was slipping under hard accelleration and hard gear changes, so i thought oil was on the fltywheel/clutch . I Pulled out the gearbox today and found the pressure plate and its nuts have been all mashed up, the bellhousing also had marks/chips throughout.
What could of caused this ? its a 6 month old clutch and its to suit high power applications.
bellhousing is niteparts.

Must.... avoid.... urge... to... upgrade... parts I haven't.... used.... yet.....
seems like there is somthing not right going on with the clearance between the bellhousing and clutch plate.
Was there are notable noises or vibrations when you were driving it, especially during heavy acceleration...
I would be checking all the pressure plate bolts and also the flywheel bolts to make sure they are all tight.
and I agree pics would be handy...
All good people thanks for your help.. It ended up being 2 dowells from the flywheel that came loose and caused mayhem
