Isn't Warwick's 23 mickey mouse, he bought it brand new and still has it and you could bet what ever it has never been punched. It is the perfect TA23.
I wish l owned it.

The MS75 is an amazing looking car. First I have seen of one too.
Somehow a crochet rug and bowls hat wouldn't suit.
Great turn out.
Cam mountain I feel different from the ordinary

hi rosco
warwick also said that it has done 450,000 miles thats 720 ,000 klms
it truly is a remarkable car ,
nostalgia is not what it used to be:
I can remember seeing Warwick's Celica at Hanging Rock many, many years ago at a time when it was literally the only Japanese car on display. (It was probably the youngest car on display at the time also.)
I use to try to get in with a MA46, and also tried with an RA28. My cars didn't make the cut, but Warwick's car was there. It was the exception to the rule at the time.
Warwick's car looks the same today as it did when I first saw it!
I second the Great day as has been mentioned by many already it was my first time there as well ...
What a turn out of cars !!
My son & i went for a looooong walk around & i'm sure we still missed quite a few cars !! Ian's got the right idea bringing his bike ...
Thanks for the pic's Adam ..
Will be back next year & Hopefully in the Celica ..
Rob ..
It hasn't done that many miles and besides 23's had klm speedo's.
I know Warwick doesn't drive it very much these days and it is in to good a condition for it to have done as many mile as Ian states.
Roscos
ha
that could explain a lot
2 old blokes together we forgot what was said
450000 klm equals only 281000 miles
that sounds more believable
nostalgia is not what it used to be:
I remember Warwick telling me a couple of years ago that his car has had a repair to rear quarter and boot lid. The rest is as it rolled off the production line. But when I look at the bonnet and stonetray it just seems too good for 450,000km. Perhaps he covers the leading edge of the bonnet and stonetray to protect from stone chipping.
I had a good look at the car and its a top car, and i could see that it had been resprayed recently. A close look at paint work and it had a clear over base paint system . Toyota painted their metalics in 70's with clear and base all in one shot which nearly always came out blotchy. In short, paint is to good for a factory finish of that time
In my opinion![]()

I recall him saying that some of the panels had been reprayed and colour matched in while some panels still had original paint on them. But he also said it hadn't been in an accident.

I don't know what you blokes think but that car has not done the miles you think it has done.
Warwick's carr would be lucky to have done 100.000k and l think it still has it original motor. Have a look at the body, it's brilliant it doesn't look like the shitter that Ian owns.
I know Warwick told me he drives a MX5 as a every day driver and also l think he has another car to drive as an every day driver.
Roscos
he told me that as soon as he learns how to turn the computer on he will join us on the forums
we can then clear up the correct mileage issue
nostalgia is not what it used to be:
He may have said 450,000kms, but I'll lay money on the table that it hasn't.
That means the car has driven almost 15,000kms every year since it was new, which is daily driving kms, and you cannot have a car do that many kms a year for over 30 years and have it looking anywhere near in the state it's in.
I'd say he's read his 5+1 digit tacho as 450,000kms when it's really only done 45,000kms.
