Who's MS75 coupe was that there? Never ever ever seen one of those before. That red corolla was also pretty hot.
yeh thats the one, it looked too much like a mustang and not enough like a Celica![]()

Great day guys. good turn out by the toyota people too!
Loved the photos Pac and Adam!
It was good to display the MR2 but it made me wish my ke35 was finished already so I could have had it there.
Because of that I ended up going to the workshop and cutting out the front panel to fit the cooler pipes. made me want to do a lil work.
Again awesome day. As always its good to catch up with everyone.
Wow what a great turnout for the Toyota's. Especially the Corolla guys.
It was real good to meet some of you guys.
Thanks to the guys in the gold & maroon Celicas for letting us know to move to the oval. Much appreciated.Great turn out, and thanks to the guys who persevered with the officials to get us all together!
Thanks, that would be my car. I also own the KE26 wagon. That red corolla was also pretty hot.
(Hehe my last post was post was back in 2006)
Cheers

another perfect day at the rock, with too much sunshine and not enough drinks.
great seeing everyone again. i must try to get to more meets with you all.

the yellow ta23 that is in a few piccys belonged to Warwick gibbons
we met him a couple of years ago at the rock
he has had that car from new , its got nearly 500.000 miles on it , and it still looks new
nice guy , he said that he is looking forward to coming on a few cruises with us in the future ,
also it was good to catch up / meet some of the toyota club guys , there were the odd faces that i remember back in the days when hookers were still virgins
the crowns were spectacular , perfect day

nostalgia is not what it used to be:
I'm a little bit sunburnt i think. I am with Adam, less sun and more beers next year. We need to get a proper picnic happening and gather round at lunchtime for a feast. There's so many of us that get along well. We're a great group and i think it would be great to all be in the same place at one time of the day.
Also, how come we always get stuck so far away from anything? Oscar was telling me that he and a few others scored a wicked spot in the centre near the food area ... so how come they were alone and why couldn't the rest join them instead of the spot on the perimeter of the oval?

Nice to meet some of you today. Tait (dfunkt) is right, I am abit of a crown freak. At the moment I have 2X ms75, a Ms 63 (wagon) and ms 65 and lots of bits. Have had 40 and 50 series as well. Great day and would be keen to get out more with other early Toyota fans, but I dont get online much. Hopefully Tait will drop me a line occasionally to let me know whats going on in Vic.
Excellent day as always.
(Just wish the organisers would stick to the show criteria and direct some of the grocery-getters to the public parking area; like a number of very ordinary VN-VS Commodores!)
Despite all the shiny paint and chrome today, my favourite was an original unrestored 1926 Dodge Tourer complete with vintage trailer. They don't get much more authentic than this thing!
Great pictures Adam, it was nice to see Warwick turn up from Bendigo with his Gold TA23 and who owned the green 22 with the old celica car club badge and club plates.
Roscos
also it was great to see MISFIT
who came from WA for the event ,
although she forgot to bring her car ,
we had quite a few inquires about the club
we really need to get some cards with contact information
nostalgia is not what it used to be:
TCCA are in the middle of getting some contact cards made up. Shame we didn't have them for that event as there were a few cars there I would have liked to follow up...
I think Tate wanted the less sun and more beers, but I am with him. Next year we should try and do a BBQ like some of the other groups were.
i am looking forward to being part of the toyota club
we may be able to get our highly skilled catering crew that we had at winton to participate next year

nostalgia is not what it used to be:
Sarah and i had a great day apart from crunching the spoiler on the Celica and arguing with the officals to keep space for the club on the oval. Great to see everybody. My mate Ron with the 67 mustang had a great time and will be back next year. Spoke to Graeme the organiser of the day and he said they had 2850 cars and bikes through the gates and he used to own a early Celica and loves them and was impressed by the clubs turn out.Adam great job on the photos and Jason loved the Crown coupe you were behind us as we left the show.
Paul.
