Default JZX81 Hydro Fan Radiator parts question?

    Hi,

My car was leaking coolant from the top end tank of the radiator.
It is 1jz with hydro clutch fan setup from a jzx81.

I brang it to radiator repair shop, they are searching where to source the top end tank for me and will give me a call back.
So far haven't heard back from them.

My question is, does the top end tank radiator of a jza70 with hydro fan interchangeable?
or is there any interchangeable top end tank for a jzx81?
In any case if the repair shop couldn't find a replacement due to it being jzx81!
what other solutions I have? I dont want swap for a non hydro fan water pump yet because it is a big job and I will leave that when my timing belt is due.

I have a plan B in mind, that is to buy a mx83 radiator and wire twin thermo fans, I have seen other people with ford AU fans installed with little mods, how am I going about the wiring?

    thanks all,

Ther radiator repair shop recommended me to buy a new car~!

Looks like I will be going after market radiator and thermo fans.

Does anyone know how or please instruct me on how to wire the fan thanks.

Plan B also involves installing a non-hydro fan water pump (if done properly) so you might want to rethink that.

If you are going aftermarket radiator then why not get one made to fit the hydro fan?

I was running a JXZ90 radiator in my mx83/1jzgte with hydro fan and all working well until the tank broke and no radiator shop could find a replacement tank..
So I ended up ditching it for thermos just as that was the cheapest option at the time.

But would like to try and find a source of jzx90 radiators...

For cheap fix, I can recirculate the fluid back into the pump? and leave the water pump as it is.

If there are any aftermarket radiator with hydro fan setup I would love to jump on it. Unfortaunately there isnt any?

Did you removed the water pump completely?
and would you be able to instruct me on the wiring the fans?

Radiators that have the INlet or OUtlet Halfway up the tank will normally block below that and collect shit ... Common with VL's .

    PM sent officer!

I decided to go with mx83 radiator and thermo fans and recirculated the fluid. Seen a few on toyotacressida.net and they never have any problem so far.

thank you all for your inputs!

    cheers,
