The pro sequential is the same as the TSI unigroup sell.
I have one on my 1jz, it's pretty basic and not to hard to use. But there doesn't seem to be alot of info or support for them.

So the Pro Sequential is a glorified Emanage Ultimate ?

That would be a deal-breaker for me. If most tuners know little or nothing about them, and it's hard to get help if/when you have problems, the small amount of money saved in the initial purchase can very quickly be overwhelmed by the setup costs. The words "false economy" come to mind.

On an unrelated note, why does nearly every programmable ECU have the name something-tech?

I'd sooner spend the few hundred extra to get something like a Wolf v500. They're well supported, VERY easy to use, and the software is just prettier/more logical.

You have both ends of the scale...

Cheap/time consuming/need to be pretty knowledgeable = Megasquirt
Mid range/pretty easy to setup/not technically the best = eg: Microtech
    Higher end/easy to setup/full featured = Motec.

The V500 is somewhere between microtech and motec, most suited to DIY, and probably best value for money at the moment.

    Cheers,
    Tim
