well i didnt think there was a need to start a thread so early for next years six hour
but i have had 2 calls so far with a definite ,interest
so once again it will be first in best dressed
we should be able to field 3 teams this year
2 celica teams 1 of these may be a full teams of ra 28's and a misc team
so far in the misc team there are
1 john escort sports sedan
2 matt nissan gtr
3 ray mazda s/c
4 jeremy sprinter
thats more than a half a team already

Gee this is an early start for the thread. I was wondering how long it would take to see the 2010 thread start though.

I'm gonna put down some interest, not so much to compete, but to help you guys with preperation. I have just recently started my own business. If all goes to plan i will be pretty well set up for cars by Jan or feb, (I'm already set up for engines its the easy part). But I might be able to organise things like a full inspection on the cars at the shop, plus this one might please all but I might een be able to get cheaper oil for us to use. It will be Nulon oil, but I am going to get the big 205 litre drum for the shop so I can probably sell it off to the teams for use for a lil more than half the standard bursons price!

just putting it out there for now.
let me know if you have any other ideas that I may be able to help out with. (obviously anything mechanic work wise I can do, but thats obvious).

Basically I am going to do specialised servicing (how many classic and sport toyota mechanics do people know that they can trust) Modifications, And of course any engine builds. This is very well suited to all of us on here because of the toyota knowledge I have and am willing to share. I will be basically a Jap specialist, but obviously can still work on that Australian poo as well. lol

Timbo: just let me know when you want me to get on it. Still getting my workshop benches built, but I've got all my stands and tools already for the engine building so I can do that when ever you like. Anyone else who is also in need of engines I've worked on and researched and can build anything from 2tg to 2zz. Toyotas are obviously a passion of mine so the more toyota stuff I get the more I enjoy it, the more someone enjoys their job the better and quicker they can do things.

There was a bloke at Winton yesterday in a really nicely presented old style Celica, maybe he is worth a try, what made it better though, was it was Ford V8 powered - LOL
