Default KYB shocks into KE corolla front

Hey, just wondering if anyone has successfully fitted a set of KYB 363046's from the rear of an 85-86 MR2 into the front of their KE series rolla?

Pretty sure they're a direct fit (fair bit shorter stroke of course), and i'm very close to ordering a set from ebay america, just want to confirm with someone that may have done it in the past..

If anyone has exact dimensions of these inserts it'd be great too.

    cheers

Is 85-86 the early ones, I'm sure AW11 has 2 body diameters with the later one being the same as SW20? Can you get the specs from KYB for those numbers and compare to the SW20 ones?

Pretty confident there are two diameters, and its only the earlier of the two that will fit in the KE strut housing. Also tried contacting KYB in Aus and they dont list that part so they couldnt help me. Pretty sure if you want to buy them they'll have to come from ebay in the states or something

Thats spot on. Earlier ones use the smaller diameter then they started using the larger diameter later on
