any body no how to get the fuel pumping working properlly for all those that did the conversion with just engine, loom, ecu ect jzx81??

    UNKOWN THINGS:
there is i 3 pin plug dangling from the rear of the auto gearbox unknown where this goes or what it does? also a 4 pin (i think) plug coming out of the 1jz loom near fusebox? and lastly big plug doing nothing on the 1jz engine harness in cabbin? i have pictures but just need to find cable any thoughts would be great!

also my flying lead from the ecu has nothing to plug into??

i would steer well clear of cressida forums if you have anything technical to ask about.

in the original mx83 setup, the circuit opening relay is triggered by a switch in the AFM. You need to ensure that the circuit opening relay trigger is then re-wired to be triggered by the 1JZ ECU's FC pin. The ECU then controls the circuit opening relay which in turn ultimately controls the fuel pump.

These diagrams should be all you really need to get it wired correctly:

are you using the JZX81 loom? if so, you need to re-pin a plug into the right kick panel. it controls the fuel pump, and also the handbrake light! PM me for some pictures of mine.. also, try changing spark plugs, i chased my tail for about a week not considering six platinum spark plugs could foul, they did....

Sorry mate should have said L/H kick panel, the MX83 body loom has a different connector to the JZX81 loom, "well this one did". I had the JZX rear looms so I just swapped the connector pin for pin colour and that sorted a few issues, dont know about the auto connector as this one is a manual. I'm just down to sorting the door locking and leftover overdrive light flashing, and your not alone with the head scratching with the electrical mysteries as there are many!!!

Any luck with those intercooler pipes from my PM?
