If you are looking for a cheap option just get the hose as you said. Should work well as it will still flow there just will be a bit more restriction from the 2 extra bends but I wouldn't worry about it.
I have a radiator supposedly from a TA22 but the radiator return (top hose connection) is on the wrong side for a TA22?.... Is this a RA23 radiator?
In order to "fix" this can I just get a hose with two tight bends in it?
Or
get a radiator guy to weld the hose connector on the correct side?
Or
just chase a TA22 radiator and sell the other one?
Any easy solution here??.... could return it to the wrecker but he has no more Xa2X radiators??
Thanks
Nathan

Yes RA23 Radiator return in on the drivers side while the TA22 Radiator is on the passenger side. easiest way to fix it is just add the bends i wouldnt worry about the extra bends too much shouldnt affect it greatly.
Might be a good time to look into the Excel radiator conversion

The thermostat's restriction on the system would negate the extra bend's restriction. So I would go with the extra bends.

Ok cool Now for the next question...... Where to find one?
Given that it is not a stock celica thing is there an easier way than sorting the Scheap display for them?
You will need to know the pipe diameter, then go and sort through the super crap display for some bends (an S bend cut in half then lengthened with some metal tubing will sort you out)
Another option is to take it to a radiator mob and have them move the outlet for you. Shouldn't cost too much. Just check and make sure it will physically fit your engine bay first.

Ahhm, from a very long time ago, I seem to remember that the opening in the radiator support is bigger in a 23 than a 22, and the radiator bolt points will also be wider than the TA22 points. First cab off the rank, grab a tape measure and start writing down some numbers.
cheers Chuck.

Hmmmm Maybe this radiator has been customed somewhere along the lines because it fits perfectly?
Interesting... Off to Super Cheap tomorrow to find an S

Before you go playing around with S bends, ring a few radiator shops and ask them how much to move the outlet on a copper tank radiator. You will probably find it is cheaper than you think, and will make the rest of the job easier.
