    Default PerthStreetScene - Carnival '09

Info for anyone who wants to enter a bit of show n shine... or just go down and check it out...

    Carnival '09 Update

Unfortunately this update is not a pleasant one as due to reasons beyond our control we are unable to continue running Carnival '09.

Our team has decided if we cannot run the show at its full maximum potential we will not run it at all.

We are happy to offer a full refund of all entrant money in a timely manner. All competitors have been contacted already. If you have not recieved an email please contact us.

For any further questions please email [email protected].

We are sorry for the inconvenience.

    cheers

Just reading on another forum that this has been cancelled/postponed(?) due to low entrant numbers.

id be more than happy to organise another one soon, but last time it was a PITA to get numbers up... Booking it requires a $550 outlay... which is not something im willing to do with my own money until i have guaranteed numbers..

Reason behind it is due to a low number of entrants. With a dyno being shipped in, stages erected and range of other large efforts going on we did not want to waste our sponsors and entrants time if we couldn’t pull off a successful show.

So all in all we would rather cancel the show, then to run a bad show and disappoint entrants and public.
    From TOCAU.

Doesn't seem to be any information on the perth street scene website however.

No its a private session i just seem to time for them instead of drive cos apparently my ginormous fat overpowered FWD whale of a red beast is too intimidating for them all.
