1ggte into x70 cresta (mx73)

hey.. my bro and i are chuckng a 1ggte into a x70 cresta..

now, we have bolted up a gx81 crossmember (same crossmember the motor was sitting on before) but it looks like the motor is sitting too far back in the bay..

now it was hard to tell coz the back of the car was up..

but can anyone confirm which mounting point on the motor you use to get a 1g into a mx73 cressi.. (same chassis basically)

and if its the rear ones on the motor (towards the gearbox)... which mounts do you need?

the gte ones that are bolted to the further front holes dont seem to fit the rear position..

any help...??

Are you using GX81 mounts, or GZ20/GA70 mounts ?

Then they'll bolt to the front mount points on the block.

btw, I'm 90% sure the LCA mount points on the X8 crossmember are 2mm bigger than the ones on the X7 crossmember.

Also, you should be able to use the stock crossmember with GX61 or GA61 mounts. Admittedly I haven't compared the SX7 crossmember, but the GX7 and MX7 are identical, so I'd *guess* the SX7 would be too. But if you already have GX81 parts, its a bit redundant now.
