    Default 5sfe extractors

hi I am trying to source some 5SFE extractors (FWD) for a friend, does a 3Sge have a different bolt pattern? any off the shelf option?

Sam, they are the same pattern so gen 1 and 2 3s items will fit. However, depending on what vehicle the 5s is in they might foul on the crossmember as they are shaped slightly different, well at least the ones i have come across are.
Factory gen2 3sge headers will fit and may be a slight upgrade over the 5s ones if you want on the cheap. AS for off-the shelf, hurricane, pacemaker, genie etc all make them. About $450 mark from memory
    Check Ozcelica maybe?

its for an st184 celica, I think any manifold would be a decent upgrade over the nasty 5S one with the integral cat.

So gen 2 is the best bet? I should just make some really but yeah this guy might be on the cheap

the gen2 stockies have a twin integrated muffler sorta thing in them as well, but they are a 4-2-1 design out of the box and have nice lengths etc. Can probs get for $50 as thats what i sold my 2 sets for.

Might want to change your topic to 5SFE extractors Not too many people are going to click on 5AFE.

Hiro: thats what the topic is?

StuC: that looks the part, better than having a catalytic converter right near the exhaust ports. So any clearence issues with a St184 that you know of? Also thanks a lot for your help

Not that I condone tampering with the emissions related components of the vehicle. But replacing that integral cat with a more free flowing bit of pipe (or just emptying it out) will make the car run a whole lot better.
Then you are free to add a suitable high flow cat somewhere else in the system, this can also be sourced from another vehicle on the cheap.

I am tottaly with you and its my exact plan, I have something in my shed but I may go for one of a Gen3 commodor as they are cheap enough and flow enough for them.

Topic title says "5afe extractors", but in the body you're asking for 5SFE ones. Significantly different engines.
