    Default edit subscription notification details

    hi there,

had a quick look around the threads, and my CP, and i couldn't find anyway of changing the subcription nofitication... most of mine are set at "instant" which means my e-mail inbox fills up pretty bloody quick... how can i set them to 'daily' or something like that? is there anyway of getting a single e-mail at the end of the day (possibly at a preset time) which lists all the updated threads so far??

    cheers

You can set it to "No email notification" which doesn't send any emails, but does still show you the new posts in subscribed threads in your User CP...

But, that's about your only decent option... That's what I use as I like to be subscribed, but I hate getting the emails...

    Actually...
If you go into your user CP
    go to " Edit options"
scroll down to Messaging and notifications
then to Defult thread subscription mode you have a choice in the dropdown menu of.

    So not subscribe
    no email notification
    instent email notification
    Daily email notification
    weekly email notification.

    hope that helps.

It changes future subscriptions, but you'll have to change all your current subscriptions to the same thing manually in your subscriptions folder...

    how?

the notification column in the subscriptions pages is read only... if i click to enter a thread, i only have "unsubscribe from this thread" under the thread tools button... maybe i just have to unsubscribe from every thead, then re-subscribe to them... or atleast to the good ones...

In the subscriptions page is a little tick boxe next to each thread...

Tick all of these, and use the drop down menu at the bottom to choose what you want as the new notification (already has Move to folder... selected), and hit go...
