Report Thread
Has anyone noticed that you can't report your own thread / post?
It was nice on the old forums to be able to report your own posts on occasions where you accidentally double posted, posted in the wrong thread / forum etc.
I also noticed that in the club members rides threads you can self moderate (delete post / thread, move thread etc.) Why does this option not exist anywhere else?

Re: Report Thread
I hadn't noticed that you couldn't report your own thread.
As to the club members rides area you should only be able to open or close the thread. This isn't something that we want available in general I made it available only in the club members rides because the starter of those threads is really the owner of the thread and I wanted them to be able to lock the thread if they felt it was going in the wrong direction.
Can you test for me and see if you can actually do more than just lock and unlock your own threads in the club members rides?

Re: Report Thread
Definately can't report your own post...
e.g.
On my post I can see post # and reputation buttons on my post but no report button.
On your post I can see post #, reputation and report.
Will start a test thread in CMR and see what I can do to it.

Re: Report Thread
OK although all the buttons are there only the close / open thread button works.
All the others say insufficient privelages or similar.

Re: Report Thread
Cool, the members rides thing is working how it should.
The report threads one is a little strange even as an admin it doesn't give me the option to report my own post. I'll see what I can find out.
On a side not how cool is quick reply and similar threads?

Re: Report Thread
It just lets you type in the box down the bottom of the thread to make your reply rather than having to go to the default reply to thread page. you can still use the reply to thread page if you want though and it is required if you want to use the extra functionality.
