Thanks jorrs. I thought iridium tipped would fall in the price range of "how much!?...ya bloody kidding!?", but $12 each sounds feasible. I'd +rep you but I don't have the power captain . If anyone has any reputable brands/part no.'s plz holla.

id go for a nippendenso w20 exu ,thats a nice cool plug for a warm motor and it will stop over run as well ,or you could use the ngk equivelent in that heat range

We use NGK bp7es as we had some over-running isues using the bp6es.
Turns out it was tuning, but I've been told that the bp7es are slightly better for avoiding that.

I personally wouldn't buy sparkplugs off ebay.....Could be fakes or not what they're described as.

in an effort to try and work out why i get 15 litres per hundred kays with my haltech tuned 18rgeu i actually decided to try bp5es over the regular bp6es ones i had been using for the last year and a half.
However my 18rgeu rarely sees more than 4000rpm's and is fairly stock.
either way all 4 cost me 12 bucks (6es and 5es) and in the grand scheme of things to try on the car...well it is not that much money really.

you say mildly worked 18RGU, so i wouldnt be expecting iridiums to be required. I would say NGK, and from things said here, either the bp6es or the bp7es. I used to use bp6es on my 18RG. I melted a set of bosch super 4s on the same motor, so wouldnt recommend them. The regular NGKs didnt melt under the same tune conditions. Personally I would never buy bosch again for plugs or leads.
