    Default w55 tailshaft question.

hey all new to this toyota powered thing.

    i have an ae86 and doing a beams conversion. running a w55 gearbox and a mx13 F series diff.

just wondering if there is a one piece tailshaft that will fit the w55 gearbox. so i can just replace the rear uni.

for example. when i was running a ca18det. i used a datsun 1600 shaft i had lying around and just got a new end put on for around $120.
i thaught a certain model hilux. went to my local wreckers and they all seemed to be 2 piece.

i have searched to the best of my ability and cannot be stuffed paying $1000+ for a custom one.

any help would be appreciated as this is coming up to my last problem.

Where on earth are you paying $1000 for a new single piece tailshaft?! :S

My last single piece talishaft cost $300, all new yoke, unis etc

That said the only single piece tailshaft with W5x yoke I can think of off the top of my head is MX62 Cressida (early). It has E series flange at the diff (which might be the same as F series...).

    1355mm end to end.
