    Default RT142 Corona Wheel Offsets

Could someone please tell me the wheel offset for a RT142 Corona.

Besides that what are some good wheels with the correct offset that I could use.

Would Wantanabes with an offset to suit an AE86 be okay?

    Thanks.

    offset between 0 and +10

All old toyota RWD's are the same, yes AE86 wheels will fit perfectly.

Would wantanabes suit? no they look like crap, but they will fit.

They will be around 5.5" wide and about +27 at a guess.

    Cheers

Yup, those Coronas had tarago/celica 14" x 5.5" alloys, stock. Not sure of the exact offset but that sounds about right.

Lem, you do realise that offset is a function of rim width? And that you may not necessarily want to maintain stock track? And that the cars with the same suspension geometry even had different tracks from the factory (think flared and non-flared A6 celicas - identical suspension, non flared got 14"x5.5" ~+27, flared got 14x7.5 +8)

All Aus-delivered xA6x Celicas - same era as the RT142 - had alloys. Coronas either had steelies or those alloys.

Thanks all for your help. Will give me a little scope with what to choose.

As for the Wantanabes yeah I have thought they'd look a bit dodge just thinking though. Just don't want to have any chromin flammin wheels. I want to keep it reasonably Grandma Spec after all.
