Soarer EMV issues

hi again..

sorry for so many recent threads, but i have a few problems with my soarer which im trying to solve. ive tried googling and also a few other cousin sites (even this one, tried to search 'emv') but with no luck

anyways, issue i have is that my emv (touch screen) has a wavey effect when you first start the car. sometimes it will stay on and get better/straighten out and look how its suppose to look, whilst other times it goes black (but still lit)
its quite annoying, obviously because the screen is used for a/c controls etc (but memorized where each button is now) and also use it for my dvd player
i have read somewhere along the lines that they are the capacitors that need to be replaced, but i am not game to go ahead and rip it out of my dash and take it apart without any sort of instructions. i have a couple of mates pretty good with small electrics, so fixing it with some sort of guideline to help us should not be an issue.
the backlight is fine, all the touch screen works. it is a second hand screen put in by an audio/auto sparky so no warranty was given.
it also has dead pixels, and makes the screen look like it has stars, which doesnt phase me too much.
im really just wanting the screen to be 100% on..

Just be warned, there are a few variations of the EMV so you might have slight board differences
