Default E-series gearbox slave cyl options

    Hi guys

I have a box from a Camry V6 and the slave cylinder is laid out all wrong for what I want to do. As you can see the bleeder sticks directly outwards, i was hoping to get one with the bleeder pointing up, down, or at the front of the slave. It also has some wiert attachment layout for the line, I'd prefer one that just has the line going straight into the end of it rather than throught he top with that stupid looking fitting.

Wondering if anyone has pics of a slave from another E-series box that might be a different layout to this.. eg a Corolla, MR2, GT4, etc...

If anyone can hook me up woudl be good, I always give free shit away so hoping someone has one lying around they don't want.

    Cheers

Just a further update, I found a few pictures so this is turning into a good reference for others who may have questions about what fits and what doesn't.

I have found pics of each of the GT4 ones, each of which has its own differences but still isn't quite what I want.

    ST165 GT4: http://www.gtfours.co.uk/pics/trans/gbox/165/16.jpg
    ST185 GT4: http://www.gtfours.co.uk/pics/trans/gbox/185/002.jpg
    ST205 GT4: http://www.tcbparts.co.uk/pictures%2...260%202056.JPG

Can someone help with pics of Caldina, AE95 wagon, MR2, GZE Corollas, etc? Mine is from a widebody 3VZ Camry.

This is an example of something that would do what I want... fluid inlet at the back, and bleeder pointing more downwards.

Hoping to find somethign like this off another OE Toyota E-series box so that bolt pattern, rod length, dsplacement etc are all correct.

The problem with having a bleeder pointing downwards is that it wont let you bleed the air which will rise to the top of the cylinder, thats why the bleeders are always at the top or close to the top.

PM sent. Re the spare from an E51 box.

I can take a photo of the one on my E58 box too (E51 is from an MR2, E58 from an AE101 GTZ Levin)

I don'y mind it being at the top, I just don't want it pointing sideways.

I think the AE92 GZE E58 slave is the one you want. That said im also wondering whether W58 slaves will fit, if they do then a MA61 slave is perfect.

This is allegedly an AE82 one... seems to point a long way outwards still:

That looks like a C52 one, not an E58 one. Let me see if i can find pics of my engine bay

    Edit: maybe not:

Yeah that sems to point fairly much outwards.. AND the fluid-in line is pointing outward too so it's double fail.

    Hm, fairly similar deal.

Might just have to bite the bullet and go to a clutch shop for a look through a catalogue...

Remember with any of them you can run a banjo in to the bit which pokes out and the bleed from the other side, thats what ive done with my W58 one.

Yeah if I can't source something from a clutch shop I can probably find someone to cut off & weld up the bit that sticks out, then run an in-line bleeder.

I can cope with the hose coming in from the top, just not the bleeder sticking out.

What is it going to foul on in the 82?
