    Question Seat options - KE70

After some opinions and options for seats for my KE70 Ute. Floor mounting options are free as the mount points have already been modded.
What im after are seats that are -
    - reasonably straight forward to mount
    - can be mounted quite low
    - electrically adjustable
    - suitable for someone 6' 2" plus
    - storage tray under seat would be handy
    - good looking
    - comfortable
    - leather or something fairly plush would be nice
Unfortunately not a lot of wreckers local to me for me to search myself, but being in NZ pretty much anything Japanese is easy enough to find once I have some options to look into. May even look into swapping dash and door cards if they could be adaptable.

not really a seat speciallist but im 6ft and my z20 soarer seats are 8way electrically adjustable, (lumber and wings are on a switch in the centre console) there low, look cool and they can go from feeling like a racing seat to a lazy boy depending on the adjustments.. maybe ask if theres a GZ20 or MZ20 near your area and go have a sit =P

Why do you want electric seats?

I know they're not Toyota, but Mazda Rx-7 series 5 seats are really comfy and often used in old school applications. I think i'm gonna retro fit some to my Capella when i re-do the interior.

I want electric because I'm lazy.
Really the car is being built as a cruiser with as many mod con's as I can get into it, will look at non electric but electric is preferred (seat heaters would be nice lol).

Haha, fair enough. That's a pretty ambitious seat swap you have planned then!

What about MA61 Supra seats? They're heated, not sure about electric but they shouldn't be too hard to come by.

MA61 seats can VERY easily be made to bolt in like factory to the AE71 mounts....
i fitted RA65 seats to my old AE71 - only required very minor mods.
    ...... butt scratcher?!
