What won't it do?
On my celica the central locking was playing up and it wouldn't unlock, turns out the actuating rod from the solenoid to the lock was bent, straightened it up and it works like a charm again.
it's in my current subaru '96 legacy/liberty and as i mentioned sometimes the central locking wont work, normaly on warm days if that makes any sence. i know it's not a toyota but i'd imagine that it'd be simlar in all jap cars. and working out where to start would be a great help.
cheers

it seems that on warm days locking or unlocking the drivers door doensnt acctivate the central locking. i hear a click inside the door but all other doors stayas they were.
is there a sender unit which it's failing at?

have you taken off the door cards and had a look at the central locking motors in the doors? maybe get them out and operate them disconnected to the rods and see if it malfunctions
