    Default Toyota 7.5" diff compatiblity?

    Hi,

While hunting around for diff info the the F series I cam across this. I was chasing up the spline count for F series diffs which I am told is 27.

    http://www.7453217467431.com/product...13342171&tab=2

I do not know if they ship to australia or even if this would fit a F series diff, but I thought it might as they are meant to fit for toyota 4 runner front diffs, I was told they were the same as a F series diff in supras etc...

Does anyone know if this looks like it would be compatible or how could I find out. I have asked if they do ship to australia? Also are they a lsd style diff or a locker style?

    Thanks

It's a locker. Good for rock-hoppers and drag racers, not so good for a street-driven Corona.

I just saw the price and thought it looked pretty good, but with shipping and the risk of getting caught in customs etc, it can be risky.

Hey I thought you were busy at work?

"The Powertrax No-Slip Traction System is the latest design in locking differential technology. It combines the smooth operation of a limited-slip differential, with the traction performance of a locking differential."

Do you reckon the smooth operation bit is at bit far fetched

I think the "smooth operation" bit is a relative term, ie compared to your traditional Detroit-type locker it's probably less brutal - but a locker is a locker. Anything which locks the axles solid while driving can only be so smooth.

And yes I'm working hard, real hard.
