How much would one of these days cost and do i need to have any CAMs license or anything to join in?
Also do i need any special gear or equipment?
Wouldn't mind getting the 23 out there before the running gear goes in the 28 and i become too scared of UV ruining my paint or light gusts of wind damaging it to even think about driving it on a track
Good question dude.
I think you have to have a helmet and fire extinguisher.
Cams License can be bought on the day but i would shoot them an email to get confirmed specifics.

Given its at Wakefield you can use a CAMS licence if you already have one or can purchase a AASA on on the day from Wakefield.
Wakefield doesn't require fire extinguishers in the car but you'd be crazy not to have one, just make sure you buy the ones that are CAMS approved and has the metal bracket, not a plastic bracket.
Helmet is obvious, closed shoes, long pants, long sleeves and that's it.
Wakefield don't check the car for these sort of days or do any form of scrutineering but if they notice any leaks or drips you' won't be allowed on the track.
Given Ultimates private days are timed they may have some of their own rules for the day so as Jezz said best to shoot them an email and check on that.
Timed days are generally $180 or more.

Wakefield changed a bit when it went under the current management and now falls under the Australian Auto Sport Alliance (or something similarly named) so the licence you get from Wakefield AASA is only valid for AASA circuits/events.
In Alex's case it'll probably be best value and easiest just to grab a Wakefield AASA licence on the day that is valid for 12 months. I think they are about $50 - $60........the Wakefield website explains it all........

Looked liek a good turnout for their last day at WP, I might try and get the car ready for this one as well.
