my 20V silvertop is running 2 ECUs. one is BlckTop's and another one is 4AGZE's.
i'm running DLI system on my 20v without using crank sensor. Now, the ignitions are still based on my distributor signals. A local mechanic did it for me and he doesnt want to share much.
from wat i think, the ignition map is still based on BT's ecu instead of 4agze's. since the 4agze ecu isnt able to take signals from 20v sensors such as distributor, map, TPS and all for the ignition map..
so wat he did was probably using BT's ignition output signal and send it through the 4agze ecu juz as a converter to convert the signals for the twin coil....
OR
it might be running on 4agze's ignition map. and it's all just the base ignition map of the 4agze ecu, regardless of other sensors signals such as throttle position, map, and knock sensor....so tht means my ignitions over the whole RPM range are juz the base ignition map.....but tht doesnt seem possible too...
anyone care to explain, how was it possiby done?
really have no idea how it works
