    Bump with more info.
I just got some Ichiba 40mm studs (they measure by the thread) for my AE101 Corolla Levin.

I got some nice studs which are about 8-10mm longer than the current ones on my ae111 if anyones interested
Can't remember part number but if anyones looking for one, PM me and i'll go have a look, pretty cheap too and repco was the local retailer so easy to get

Found some of the old studs on my Levin were Nice S340 studs, so I did another comparison.

fwiw, ST215 Caldina rear studs are 31mm thread (35mm to end of stdf from hub face, as there is a taper at the end)
seem to be 14.3mm hole in hub, but will confirm later

so they are basically the same length as the Nice S340 stud.

    and some other trawling

ST215 stock = 41.5(end of thread), 45.5(end of stud) (can have 10.5mm shoulder)
Nice S345 = 14.2mm knurl, 45.5mm long, 12.5mm shoulder (bolt length good, shoulder 2.5mm long.. may need to open up holes in disc, but ok)
Nice S340 = 14.2mm knurl, 40mm long, 7.9 shoulder (both shorter than stock)
    Nice S314 = 14.2, 41,4, 7.8, basically stock

    Nice S381 = 14.3mm, 48.2, 8.2mm (looks good)
    Nice S315 = 14.3, 43.5, 16.9mm (bigger, 2mm longer, and 7mm too long shoulder)
Nice S310 = 14.3, 41.4, 7.2mm basically same as stock, slightly bigger knurl
    Nice S312 = 14.3, 45.5, 6.5mm (shoulder short by 4mm?)

    Ichiba TO-12540 = 14.2, 47.5, 7.5mm

    update,
got S381 bolts (rear on various commodores) from Nice, through Supercheap.
    $5.09 each + $13.95 delivery = $115 for 20.

from CV side of hub, there is 47mm to end of thread, about 7mm more than stock for ST215 caldina (rear at least)
the shoulder looks pretty similar length, and should fit into the hub.

Post Re: Longer Wheel Stud solutions - The definitive guide

Was researching this topic recently, as I scored some vintage Watenabes for my AE86, and found the stock studs were not long enough to get the proper number of turns on the wheel nuts. This is what I found...

The only useful measurement is the length (measured from under the head) as hub thickness and brake discs can affect the amount of stud you can see.
All of these studs have the 14.17-14.20 knurl and will happily pull into AE86 hubs without raising a sweat. A lot of the Toyota studs are used on more than one vehicle, and may have "replaced by" part numbers different from the original.

EDIT: All references to AE86 apply to JDM version with vented discs in front and solid discs in back. I don't know what was fitted to Aussie market versions.

    Cheers... jondee86

at $5 each for brand new Nice studs, is it worth the risk running wrecker studs?
wonder what new magna ones are worth from mitsu?
