Default mk3 supra brake master cylinders?

which is the more common brake master cylinder? and have i got the models correct?

    exhibit A
    MA70 (apparently)

    exhibit B
    JZA70

    exhibit C

note the ma70 has brake line from left hand side, where as the jza70 has it on the right hand side.

    also, reservoirs are different

If they are 15/16 all will be fine.

basically i want to put the most common/easy to find one into my ma61.
the main reason is that it will be easier to find a replacement in the future rather than putting an old ma61 one in.

Get whatever was domestically offered in NZ then.
Im finding it hard to get a MA61 brake master reseal kit because its so old. Going with an MX83 instead.

Isn't the whole point of using the A70 Master that its 1".

My one is the MA70 item.
But just get it reco'd and you will never have to worry about replacing it.

so the one you are running is the first one?
we made up new lines to suit the top one, but when i saw the 2nd one, the stock lines could be bent to run that one...

    Fuk, sorry.

Just had a look. Its the bottom item.
Reservoir sits back off the front inlet.

hehe, but really... go with what is popular over there.
Rebuild and don't worry... much easier IMO.

I'd go with the JZA-70 one as it is more common and also as its the newer style will most likely be easier to find bits for in the future.

Is the MA-70 one from an ABS or Non ABS car?

I think they are the same, just the earlay ma70 ones were steel and later were aluminum.
