OST Bowling Championships

Hello All

With the terrible wet weather upon us, and cars stuck in the garage - I thought it might be a good time to organise an indoor social activity so we can all catch up.

Who likes 10pin bowling??

I was thinking of organising a small friendly social competition to be held every 6months or so.

Venue - I was going to book out the old Rosemount Bowl in North Perth. They have a cafe and bar area, and 8 bowling lanes for us to fill up.

Who - With a max of about 5 people per lane, we could take up to 40 people in the competition. Anyone on the forums is welcome to take part and maybe partners/family/friends if we need to make up the numbers.

Cost - would be about $25, which includes lane hire & shoe hire for 2 hours with the whole centre booked out for us.

And what will you be competing for??
Besides braging rights on the forums - I was going to get a OST BOWLING CHAMPION trophey made up which the winner can keep till the next bowling competition night

Person with the highest score from the night will be the winner (well der)

So if anyone likes this idea, put your hand up now and comitt ... and as soon as I have enough interest, I can book the centre (need to book a couple of months in advance).

Date has yet to be set.
The sooner I can get the interest/numbers, the sooner I can book it (a lot like organising a dyno day)

So spread the word... let all those lazy forum members know to jump on to the thread and express interest!!..

wont be for a couple of months yet... need to get enough people interested - then I can book it.

yeah, the OST forums are still online. But unfortunately it didnt take off as I would have hoped.
I still visit and update from time to time, but I think everyone else has given up on it

I will put you down on the interested persons list... at least I know I have people keen to go bowling then..
