its what i would do, and have been looking at if i go that direction...
However, you can also get a fuel rail which will replace the stock one, look nicer, flow potentialy better, and only cost a couple of $$...

Hey all, just a quick question.
Ive got a fairly significant fuel system in my z20 consisting of a Walbro pick up pump, 2x bosch 044, and 800cc sard injectors.
I have been told that I should run a fuel feed line to each end of the standard fuel rail, and modify the center of the rail with a fitting to allow me to mount a fuel reg. Apparently this will prevent fuel starvation.
Is this something that i should do??
Regards,
Andrew.

Just re-read your post, i would have the fuel reg post fuel feed, obviously, and run the return line from the center**
Just to clear that up for anyone else reading these posts...
